Looking for a quiet night?
I know all about sleepless nights and the effects this has on the family because I have three children of my own. My Lullaby CD is now sold mainly as a gift, but when I originally put the album together my aim was simply to help settle babies down at night.
And that is just what this music does. A gentle soothing voice, familiar songs and relaxing harp. Together they lull a baby to sleep in no time at all. And it can work for your baby just as it did for mine.
Don't forget. Play the CD as part of a regular bedtime routine and I guarantee it will help you have a quiet night. If not return it to us and we will refund your money.
Good luck!

Do's and Dont's at Bedtime
As a new parent you are likely to be baffled by the amount of information and advice about caring for your baby. It is easy to feel overwhelmed, so here are some do’s & don'ts to help get a peaceful night's sleep:
Do's
- Try to get into a relaxed bedtime routine so baby knows the pattern. This should be fun, with time set aside for little songs & rhymes while getting ready for bed. Babies love routine and feel happy and secure with a reassuring familiar pattern to bedtime. Feed, bath, play, bed.
- Try to keep things calm and soothing before bed. New born babies need food, warmth and comfort. Check they don’t need anything first, then settle.
- If your baby really doesn’t want to settle, pick them up. Soothe them, but don’t start playing or entertaining – try to soothe & resettle.
- Let your baby get used to being in his/her own cot.
- Play My Lullaby CD as the very last part of your bedtime routine and leave baby to settle. Stay near without distracting baby from sleep. Remember, when played regularly, the CD has a cumulative effect… In order to enjoy the benefits of My Lullaby CD, baby must get used to the CD as part of his/her bedtime routine, as a result of regular playing!
Dont's
- Routine is important for everyone as not only the baby benefits. Parents also have time to relax and catch up on things. However, if your routine doesn't work out one day, don't worry or change anything, just start again the next day!
- Don’t expose your baby to anything too lively or energetic that will get them excited or stimulated before bed.
- Don’t be tempted to pick up your baby as soon as they start to cry - check on them and see if they can settle themselves.
- Don’t bring baby in to see everyone else in an attempt to comfort them. They may become excited when they see what they’re missing out on by being in bed!
- Finally remember: Every baby is unique & so there are no hard & fast rules. Where possible, follow your instincts & try to do what feels right for YOUR baby!
